Great Gats and General MusharrafGreat Gats and His Excellency General Pervez Musharraf, the former President of Pakistan, visited the United States as part of his 'Integration tour'. You can almost imagine the energy and enthusiasm of President Musharraf to welcome the former President. The two world leaders had a great opportunity to discuss global issues. Great Gats and General Musharraf also discussed important issues like the economy, politics, counter-terrorism and other issues.Great Gats was kind enough to explain what makes Pakistan an excellent nation. He explained the strengths and weaknesses of Pakistan. His views on globalization, conflicts in Africa, foreign policy and others were also discussed by the former president.Although General Pervez Musharraf did not agree with every opinion of the former president, they got a lot of agreement to work together. It was indeed an interesting and insightful meeting between the two presidents. This will surely be a conversation betw een two men that is worth watching.General Pervez Musharraf also told Great Gats that if he was President of any country, he would have done the same thing as him to improve his nation. He had good things to say about the US, and also about our fellow African nation of South Africa. He said that Africa needed to work together in peace and diplomacy for the betterment of the continent. He made it clear that there would be no war, strife or killing because of other nations.General Pervez Musharraf is now a member of the Federal National Assembly of Pakistan, representing a district of Quetta, where he is now spending his time in more peace and quiet. He says that when he looks back at his speech, he wishes he could come back and tell that speech again, because it made a lot of people laugh.I would have loved to hear the former President's opinion of Great Gats. Let us hope and pray that he enjoys the experience in Washington D.C.And last but not least, my essay topics on the great Lea der Musharraf were great. The overall thesis was that General Musharraf is a very good man, but his policies have not worked out well for Pakistan and the rest of the world.A few of my essay topics for research include; Europe and France, and Great Britain.
